Stranded Hikers - Mt. Olympus West Slab

A medical helicopter was called in to find two hikers stranded on the north side of Mount Olympus. They were not injured but they were stuck on a ledge. Search and rescue crews were able to rescue the hikers without incident.

We do mountain search and rescue in rock, snow and ice, swiftwater, and dive environments. We operate free of charge, year round, 24 hours a day. On this site you'll find information about our team, operations, and mountain rescue techniques, as well as links to other technical rescue, weather and emergency resource pages.
