Welcome to the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue home page. Our volunteer team provides Search and Rescue services in Salt Lake County. We do mountain search and rescue in rock, snow and ice, swiftwater, and dive environments. We operate free of charge, year round, 24 hours a day. On this site you'll find information about our team, operations, and mountain rescue techniques, as well as links to other technical rescue, weather and emergency resource pages.
